My Biography is Coming Soon...

I first began writing stories and poems when I was 8 years old, I found writing helped me to escape my troubled childhood, my imagination took me far away as I became the characters in my stories. My poems developed more with age and eventually i began to concentrate mostly on writing poetry. I love the way a single word or image will come to mind and the poem would flow, however not necessary the way i believed it would be written. Since becoming an adult and also a mother my inspiration has come from varies different sources including my children, different experiences, places I visit, my walks and life in general. Some of my poems have been published in varies books and I have been lucky enough to have two of my own poetry books published. Despite this I am still surprised by my achievements especially as I found out a few years ago that I'm dyslexic, but that's just part of who I am and maybe why my poems can vary so much.
